Hey!
KT Marrinan is a Hudson Valley-born illustrator and cartoonist. She graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2023, where she studied illustration and animation. Her artistic interests include women in fiction, fantasy and sci-fi, and the otherworldly within mundane life. She’s passionate about unique, strange stories with a lot of heart.
Her work focuses on creating immersive supernatural narratives, pulled from growing up enacting fantastical adventures at a live action roleplaying camp in upstate New York’s woods. She’s inspired by her experience being chased by real chainsaws, summoning ghosts, and learning how to scale walls in old factories — and brings these supernatural & fantasy worlds to cartooning, animation design, and visual development.
She is currently working on her debut graphic novel, SKELEMANCY.
